At the invitation of Vanuatu Parliament Speaker Simeon, Mr. Duan Chunhua, Vice Chairman of The Agriculture and Rural Committee of the National People's Congress, and his delegation visited Vanuatu from December 10 to 12, 2023. The delegation called on Honorable Parliament Speaker Simeon, Prime Minister Salwai, Minister of Agriculture Natuman and other colleague. Both exchanged views on China-Vanuatu parliamentary communication and practical cooperation in the agricultural field.

The delegation also visited Ifira island and held discussion with the Paramount Chief Teriki Mantoi Paunimanu Kalsakau III
